This course was designed to help nurses in the cardiac intensive and acute care units have a better understanding of caring for pediatric heart/lung patients.

After completing this activity, the learner will be able to:
- identify types of agencies utilized in the transplant process.
- understand common nursing care associated with pediatric heart and lung transplant patients pre transplant.
- identify levels and procedures for listing transplant patients.
