School Nurse Advisory Group - February
A goal of the School Nurse Advisory Group is to help improve communication and care across all aspects of the healthcare team to improve children’s health. This activity will make an impact on the interprofessional healthcare team by developing the foundation for the development of a framework between school health professionals, hospital clinicians, and primary care.

Following this session the learner will be able to:
- Identify effective school-health partnerships and role in child health
- Describe role of school nurse/nurse practitioner in school-health partnership
- Define key next steps in development of school-health partnership
In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
The maximum number of hours awarded for this Continuing Nursing Education activity is 1.5 contact hours.
Other health care professionals will receive a certificate of attendance confirming the number of contact hours commensurate with the extent of participation in this activity.
