School Nurse Advisory Group - June (CE credits)
School nurses and nurse practitioners play a critical role in children’s health. Building stronger connections between school health professionals, hospital clinicians, and primary care providers will help strengthen the continuation of care for pediatric patients. Gaps in care occur due to communication barriers and the goal of the School Nurse Advisory Group is to identify and address these barriers.
Following this program, the learner will be able to:
Identify effective school-health partnerships and role in child health
Describe role of school nurse/nurse practitioner in school-health partnership
