The Southeastern SATA Meeting

This SATA regional meeting is a virtual meeting designed to provide a multi-disciplinary review of the latest updates on a variety of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative critical care management topics for abdominal and thoracic transplant patients.

Target Audience

Transplant Anesthesiologists, Intensivists, Transplant Surgeons, Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students.

  • Describe new modalities in organ preservation
  • Discuss lung transplant for patients with COVID 19
  • Discuss predictors of early extubation following lung transplantation
  • Describe principles of intraoperative care for liver transplantation
  • Discuss causes of primary graft dysfunction following heart transplantation
