This class is to prepare the trauma nurse to successfully pass the TCRN certification

Learning Objectives
The participant will be able to describe the abdominal assessment in trauma patients and differentiate the difference in blunt and penetrating abdominal injuries
The participant will be able to assess a trauma patient for maxillofacial trauma injuries
The participant will be able to identify interventions for a trauma patient with psychosocial issues after experiencing a traumatic event
The participant will identify changes in neuro status and nursing interventions with a trauma patient with neuro and spine trauma
The participant will be able to discuss professional issues in caring for trauma patients
The participant will discuss the continuum of care when caring for trauma patients
