TCRN Review Course -Day 2 September 29, 2025
This review course will prepare the trauma nurses to successful pass the TCRN certification exam.
Target Audience
Nurses who care for trauma patients
Learning Objectives
The participant will be able to identify the key components of shock in a trauma patient and nursing assessment and interventions to care for a trauma patient in shock.
The participant will be able to assess a trauma patient for maxillofacial trauma injuries
The participant will be able to discuss the common mechanism of injury see in trauma patient and be able to predict traumatic injuries.
The participant will be able to calculate the TBSA in a burn patient and calculate fluid resuscitation
The participant will identify changes in neuro status and nursing interventions with a trauma patient with neuro and spine trauma
The participant will discuss the nursing assessment of a pregnant, geriatric, pediatric and bariatric trauma patient.
