This class will prepare the trauma nurse to successfully pass the TCRN certification.

Nurse who are preparing to take the TCRN certification
Learning Objectives
The participant will be able to identify the key nursing assessment of trauma patients with chest trauma and nursing assessment and management.
The participant will be able to discuss professional issues in caring for trauma patients.
The participant will be able to discuss the common mechanism of injury see in trauma patient and be able to predict traumatic injuries.
The participant will be able to describe the abdominal assessment in trauma patients and differentiate the difference in blunt and penetrating abdominal injuries.
The participant will be able to assess a trauma patient for maxillofacial trauma injuries.
The participant will be able to identify interventions for a trauma patient with psychosocial issues after experiencing a traumatic event.
The participant will be able to calculate the TBSA in a burn patient and calculate fluid resuscitation.
