TCRN Review Course -September 22, 2025, Day 1
This review class is to prepare nurses to successfully pass the TCRN certification.
Target Audience
Nurses who work in trauma nursing units
Learning Objectives
The participant will have an understanding of the TCRN test design and questions related to trauma patient care.
The participant will be able to describe the abdominal assessment in trauma patients and differentiate the difference in blunt and penetrating abdominal injuries
The participant will be able to identify the key nursing assessment of trauma patients with chest trauma and nursing assessment and management
The participant will be able to identify interventions for a trauma patient with psychosocial issues after experiencing a traumatic event
The participant will be able to discuss professional issues in caring for trauma patients
The participant will discuss the continuum of care when caring for trauma patients
The participant will discuss the nursing assessment of an orthopedic trauma patient and compartment syndrome
