Transplant Class 2021
This class will prepare nurses new to the field of pediatric transplantation. Topics will be reviewed regarding the indications for abdominal transplant, the surgical aspects of abdominal transplantation, specific transplant medications, care of the pre and post- transplant patient, monitoring of specific lab values and implications for patient care, diagnosis and management of rejection in the abdominal transplant recipient.
