This course will review  psychosocial concerns of pediatric heart/lung transplant with pre-transplant work-ups and post-transplant holistic and family care.

Upon completion of this session:

  1. Learners will identify aspects of nursing related to patient-centered bedside care and psychosocial concerns of transplant.
  2. Learners will be able to identify resources for patients/families related to transplant process and support.
  3. Learners will apply knowledge gained to psychosocial transplant case studies.
