Understanding Delirium

This program will provide an overview of delirium with an emphasis on risk factors, prevention, and management.

Upon completion of the program, participants will: 

  • Identify the most common causes of confusion in the older adult
  • Identify the differences in presentation of hypoactive and hyperactive delirium
  • Identify non-pharmacological approaches to delirium
