UPMC Mercy EBP Nursing Symposium
Evidence-based practice (EBP) uses the best available and relevant research findings, and guidelines in nursing practice. Rather, than EBP, nurses use experienced-based knowledge, and their observations, colleagues and other collaborators’ support in practice without considering the best and current evidence. This symposium will provide an overview of EBP with examples to educate nurses in the implementation of EBP for better patient outcomes.
