By the conclusion of the training, attendees will be able to: 
• Describe the core components of Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) and how they are used to identify and mitigate risks associated with patient substance use. 
• Describe the process of patient MOUD candidacy assessment and selection. 
• Contrast the treatment induction process for naltrexone and buprenorphine. 
• Contrast the treatment maintenance stage for injectable naltrexone, transmucosal buprenorphine, injectable buprenorphine, and methadone. 
• Identify factors in withdrawal management and overdose prevention. • Discuss strategies to optimize medication adherence and mitigate diversion.
