Coping with Social Isolation and Loneliness
Health-care providers are on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, and often put self-care on the back burner as they care for others. Whether we are on the front lines or playing in the backfield supporting our front-line heroes; to be able to care for others we must first take care of ourselves.
The pandemic has caused many of us to find ourselves socially isolated from family and friends. This presentation will identify the differences between isolation and loneliness, the signs of both, and provide tools and resources for coping.
