Learning Objectives
- Learners will be able to interpret a 12 lead EKG to identify area of infarct and acuity of infarct to anticipate cath lab intervention.
- Learners will be able to discuss the monitoring and care of a patient being treated with a cardiac medication drip.
- Leaners will be able to identify correct placement of lines and devices on X-ray.
- Learners will be able to discuss and interpret ABG values, anticipate ventilator setting changes, and manage ventilator alarms.
- Learners will be able to care for an intubated patient by managing sedative and paralytic medications based on ventilator compliance.
- Learners will be able to discuss the Rapid Sequence Intubation process and the care of the newly intubated patient.
