 The purpose of this training is to orient staff to the new Healthwise educational pieces used for coaching, care management, and general member education. The session will support clinical staff in awareness and use of the educational tool with members and patients.

Christine Sperdute worked as a health coach and health coach supervisor at UPMC for  years using and training on Healthwise application and content.  In the last year she has worked as a program manager working to improve engagement in regards to Healthwise use by creating, reviewing and organizing  Healthwise content.
 
Renee Greenwald , MS, NBCHWC
UPMC Health Plan : Health Coach QA & Training Coordinator 
 
Renee Greenwald is a Quality Assurance Coordinator at UPMC Health Plan where she is responsible for training, empowering, and the skill development of health coaches and care managers.   She has a bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University and a master’s in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, specializing in wellness and fitness and wellness coaching from California University of Pennsylvania.  Renee is a Nationally Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach with about 5 years’ experience in health coaching.

In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

CCM CE will be provided:  1 CE  - CCM COA will be sent vial email from UPMC Health Plan nurse planner

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, University of Pittsburgh is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. University of Pittsburgh maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 1 continuing education credit.

Nursing (CNE)

The maximum number of hours awarded for this Continuing Nursing Education activity is 1.0 contact hours.
