Home Study Pinnacle - MANAGEMENT OF ANTIPLATELETS IN CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE
This activity will help provide all pharmacists at UPMC in Central PA hospitals with a baseline knowledge of the management of antiplatelets in patients with coronary disease. This activity will highlight available literature and guidelines supporting the management of antiplatelet agents. Overall, this will allow pharmacists to become comfortable with antiplatelet therapy in the treatment of coronary artery disease and help provide recommendations to optimize drug therapy.

1. Discuss landmark studies for P2Y12 inhibitors in coronary disease
2. Understand indications for DAPT, SAPT, and triple therapy
3. Interpret platelet reactivity units
4. Design an evidence based plan for antiplatelet therapy in a patient with coronary disease.
