
The Hypermobile Hip: Biomechanics, Diagnosis, and Treatment Decision-Making
Multidisciplinary gathering of experts in diagnostic and interventional medicine. Presenting each scope of practice’s expertise, experience, and knowledge relating to orthopedic care specific to the femoroacetabular joint and hypermobility conditions. This activity will give knowledge and understanding of diagnostic and intervention options to the multiple orthopedic care providers involved in treating hypermobility conditions relating to the hip joint. This will streamline referral sources, specific examinations, and treatment options for orthopedic patients.

-Knowledge of a clinical psychical exam of the hip.
-Knowledge of radiographic and ultrasound diagnostics for the hip.
-Knowledge of hip biomechanics.
-Understanding musculoskeletal hypermobility conditions and diagnosis processes.
-Understanding of the psychological factors of chronic hip pain and hypermobility.
-Understanding exercise rehabilitation strategies for hypermobility conditions
