Alice M. Moore, MPA, MSN, NHA, APN-BC
Alice is currently a Nurse Practitioner with Silverstein Family Medicine in Havre de Grace Maryland providing care in the home, assisted living facilities and in office. Previous Nurse Practitioner positions included a role at Johns Hopkins University Internal Medicine After Care Clinic and with Nurse Practitioner Professional Resources, a nurse practitioner house care practice serving patients and families in Southern New Jersey. She continues as an Adjunct Lecturer and Instructor at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She has over twenty-five years’ experience in a variety of positions in health care administration, clinical bedside nursing, and public health policy. She has had extensive experience with training and education with the interRAI instruments in the US and internationally and has worked on numerous projects for State agencies including home and community-based implementation of assessment and quality assurance programs using standardized assessment tools and qualitative outcomes. She was consultant to the State of New Jersey in the development and implementation of their ADRC and aligning the State eligibility guidelines to assessment outcomes and payment methodology. She has special interests in quality data driven outcomes related to health outcomes in primary care.
In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, University of Pittsburgh is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. University of Pittsburgh maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 10 continuing education credit(s).
Other health care professionals will receive a certificate of attendance confirming the number of contact hours commensurate with the extent of participation in this activity.
