Introduction to Radiation Oncology

This course explains the different types of radiation therapy used to treat Oncology patients, and how to care for this patient population.

  1. After participating in the learning course, the learner will be able to describe the different types of radiation therapy treatments.
  2. After participating in the learning course, the learner will be able to list at least 3 possible side effects of radiation therapy.
  3. After participating in the learning course, the learner will be able to describe the importance of skin assessment in radiation patients.
