Controlled substances are highly regulated. Pharmacists' need to understand how to identify potential diversion and misuse so they can be compliant with regulations and help to maintain a safe environment for everyone while at work.
This activity will strengthen the inter-professional relationships throughout the healthcare system as learners will be able to help make our hospitals a safer place for our patients and employees.
