Miltenberger Seminar
The Miltenberger Emergency Services Seminar is designed to meet the continuing education needs of emergency services clinicians and nurses in Western Maryland and the surrounding areas. Developing a strong cooperative relationship between public safety and healthcare clinicians is key to achieving successful evidence-based outcomes.

Learning Objectives
Learners will be able to improve delivery of care by first responders and hospital staff (including nurses and providers) through effective communication and the implementation of new practices based on the education provided.
Learners will be able to improve patient outcomes through coordinated treatment and communication across both settings.
Learning and applying new evidence-based practices for the treatment of trauma patients ensures that healthcare providers use the most effective and up-to-date methods for care.
Learners will be able to improve patient outcomes by integrating the latest research and clinical advancements (pre-hospital a & nursing) into trauma care protocols
