This course will provide up to date information on both cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabiliation.

Target Audience

Registered nurses providing care to patients who are receiving or will participate in cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation.

Learning Objectives

Attendees will be able to define Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and understand potential mechanisms of action, common symptoms and treatment strategies.

Attendees will be able to describe and discuss Home Based Cardiac Rehab and the benefits to patients.

Attendees will be able to describe Dose Response for patients attending Cardiac Rehab and strategies to increase adherence to rehab.

Attendees will be able to define Structural Heart and discuss basic management for each patient.

Attendees will be able to define Heart Failure per 2022 Guidelines. Attendees will be able to explain changes to COPD Guidelines.
