Learning Objectives

Define the term musculoskeletal disorder (MSD). Understand the impact of MSDs to include the financial burden and the physical restrictions of being injured. Understand the general anatomy of the back. Acknowledge and demonstrate MSD prevention techniques, specific to their position, such as principles of proper body mechanics. Apply the training to their work and prevent ergonomic injuries.
