Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) Bereavement Training in Perinatal Death

October 15, 2024 to October 16, 2024

UPMC of Central PA provides services for a large perinatal population.  Unfortunately, there are times when outcomes are not what a family hopes and dreams of.  Providing supportive care for families experiencing perinatal bereavement by way of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, medical termination, stillbirth or neonatal care is essential to help them navigate the difficult journey ahead. Skills needed to assist families traveling the journey of loss must be learned and developed.

 

REQUIRED DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

The planners, presenters, content experts, and all other individuals in a position to control content involved with this NCPD activity titled Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Training in Perinatal Death, do not have any relevant financial relationships with ineligible companies related to the topics presented.

In order to receive 13.75 Contact Hours, the criteria for successful completion includes:

  • Attendance at both days (missing no more than 10 minutes of daily activity)
  • Completion/Submission of evaluation form
