Agenda:
This informational session will provide an in-depth overview of how Pennsylvania’s early childhood education programs, with a focus on Pre K Counts, are addressing risk factors and weaving in and enhancing protective factors. Pre K Counts is a Pennsylvania initiative offering free, high quality pre-kindergarten education to eligible children ages 3 to 5. Designed to serve families earning up to 300% of the federal poverty level, the program supports school readiness. Consideration is given to families with risk factors, ensuring an equitable educational experience. Participants will learn how the program supports children and their families, as well as the importance of investing in early childhood education.
