To expose participants to the key ethical issues within the pediatric population, and to ethical theories that are relevant to support optimized decision-making for the care of children.

Dr. Bishop is neonatologist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She is also a bioethicist with an advanced degree in ethics as well as experience as a lead clinical ethics consultant. Dr. Bishop is the chair of a hospital ethics committee, and also directs a medical school bioethics course.
