Cardiac Effects of COVID-19

In this presentation, Aryan Aiyer, MD, describes the impact that COVID-19 infection has on the cardiovascular system.

Target Audience

This course is intended for primary care physicians, hospitalists, general medicine internists, family practitioners, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other allied health professionals.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the pathophysiology of COVID-19 on the cardiovascular system
  • Identify cardiac manifestations of COVID-19 infection
  • Properly evaluate COVID-19 patients with cardiac-related abnormalities
