Orthopedic Education Day, March 26, 2025
The nursing staff working with the orthopedic patients need to be aware of the current standards of care that contribute to the best outcomes for this patient population thru the continuum of care. Recent trends in post operative complication root cause analyses and chart audits revealed inconsistencies in practice.
Staff will gain an increase in knowledge of how nursing, ortho nurse navigators, and rehab services all contribute to the care of the orthopedic patient. Understanding how these roles work together can also increase interprofessional relationships.
