Pharmacy Resident and Fellow Research Day
This educational program will include a number of brief presentations, organized by topic area (e.g. ambulatory care, public health), that will focus on novel pharmacy-related practice initiatives and program evaluations. Presenters will be pharmacy residents and fellows who will share the results of their quality improvement and research projects. The knowledge gaps will be somewhat varied depending on the presentation, but all presentations will address new problems and solutions related to pharmacy practice. Additionally, there will be a 1-hour session conducted by a practicing pharmacist that will address pharmacy preceptor development.
Pharmacists participating in this CE activity will learn strategies to improve medication use that can be shared with their healthcare teams to improve patient care. Many of these strategies will require interdisciplinary teams to work together for successful implementation.
