PHQ9 & GAD-7: Screening and Assessment
The GAD-7 and PHQ-9 screening tools are widely used across the health plan’s clinical teams, to assess members for the presence of symptoms associated with depression or generalized anxiety. This educational activity will provide staff with information to ensure accuracy, efficacy, and efficiency relative to the screening and assessment of members who display signs and/or symptoms of general anxiety disorder or depression.

- Illustrate the application of motivational interviewing skills in screening/assessment
