Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this lecture, participants will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the principles, applications, and limitations of AI in diagnostic imaging and will be equipped to critically evaluate and responsibly integrate AI tools into their clinical practice.
The participants will be able to discuss the potential benefits and risks associated with the use of AI in diagnostic imaging, including improved diagnostic accuracy, increased efficiency, ethical considerations, and potential biases.
The participants will be able to compare and contrast the capabilities of different AI tools for a specific clinical application (e.g., lung nodule detection, fracture detection) and justify the selection of the most appropriate tool for a given clinical scenario.
