Pressure Injuries and Cervical Collar Care 2025 CHP Virtual Trauma Fair
This activity was designed to provide education of pressure injury prevention strategies specific to trauma patients. Ensuring appropriate cervical collar application and care in order to maintain immobilization and reduce risk of skin breakdown.
In order to complete activity, you must first register for the course and watch both attached videos. Then complete the quiz with a passing score of 80% and claim your credit.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the learner will be able to:
- identify 2 risk factors and 2 prevention strategies to prevent pressure injuries in trauma patients
- provide cervical collar care while maintaining cervical immobilization in pediatric trauma patients.
