Pharmacy continues to evolve and with that comes practices changes, new challenges and areas for improvement. ISMP continues to update their safety recommendations and Pennsylvania state board of pharmacy requires that all pharmacists have 2 patient safety contact hours for license renewal.

  • Discuss the location of informational references to support safe medication prescribing.
  • Review medication errors, adverse drug events, and reporting.
