New medications and new guidelines are constantly being released. Pharmacists need a mechanism to keep up with these new medications and guidelines.
Gender dysphoria has been shown to negatively affect the mental health of adolescents, and access to gender affirming care may decrease rates of depression and anxiety. This presentation aims to enhance pharmacists’ skills in supporting transgender adolescents and ensuring appropriateness of medications for gender affirming care.
