New medications and new guidelines are constantly being released. Pharmacists need a mechanism to keep up with these new medications and guidelines.
Community-acquired respiratory viral infections are not only associated with high morbidity and mortality in our lung transplant recipients but also linked to increased risk of chronic lung allograft dysfunction (CLAD). Management of CARV infections in lung transplant recipients is not well established. There is a continued need for treatments that have sufficient evidence associated with improved clinical outcomes.
