Research Day 2023

June 1, 2023

Research day is an informative and lively day of presentations from our esteemed pharmacy residents and fellows. Residents and fellows from UPMC and University of Pittsburgh affiliated programs will present their research for discussion with pharmacists, collaborators, and learners from across our sites. This series serves to promote learning more about the research and quality improvement efforts across our many programs. In addition, a preceptor development continuing education program will be offered to provide a unique clinical pearl to residency and fellowship preceptors.

Target Audience

Pharmacists

Learning Objectives

1. Pharmacy residents work to present research topics that impact clinical pharmacy treatment, to provide updated, and treatment significant information to pharmacists.

2. Residents report data and clinical outcomes of their research and provide evaluation of the data provided.

3. Information from the research series will be used to improve and streamline clinical practice, such as promoting cost savings, improved patient outcomes, length of hospital stay, limiting adverse drug reactions, or other clinically significant pharmacy information.
