REGENERATION, REJUVENATION, AND REHABILITATION: MULTIPLE PATHWAYS TO RESTORATION

Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 @11:00 am EST

Dr. Thomas Rando (Stanford University) will discuss the impact of biophysical stimuli on muscle stem cells and the potential of rehabilitative strategies to enhance the efficacy of tissue engineering technologies for the treatment of skeletal muscle injuries.

Learning Objectives:

  • How regenerative medicine principles align with the goals of rehabilitation
  • How rehabilitation principles can promote tissue regenerative potential
  • Understand principles of cellular rejuvenation, and how they integrate into goals of functional restoration
