In this lecture, Dr. Wilson will discuss the epidemiology of the current opioid epidemic. She will describe the impact of parental opioid use on children's health and wellness. She will highlight risk factors associated with youth opioid misuse and the development of opioid use disorders, and will review evidence-based therapies to treat opioid use disorder and reduce opioid-related morbidity and mortality in young people.
