Target Audience

Physicians, physician-scientists, fellows-in-training, medical residents, MD and MD/PhD students, nurses, basic and translational researchers, public health experts, and other healthcare or academic professionals with a major clinical or research interest in medicine.
 

Learning Objectives

This educational opportunity demonstrates to trainees and physician-scientist how scientific advances at the bench are being applied to bedside medicine and vice versa, including the critical role of physician-scientists in this process.

Upon completion of this conference, the attendees should be able to:

Demonstrate translation of scientific advances to clinical medicine and the role of physician-scientists in this process;
Recognize the new role of artificial intelligence in science and medical care;
Provide concrete actions that trainees and physician-scientists can take to strengthen their scientific careers and impact.
