Sepsis in 2024: Guidelines and Update

Sepsis is a major cause for patient morbidity and mortality and is frequently managed in the hospital.  Furthermore, sepsis can develop during hospitalization for patients being treated in the hospital for other conditions.  Early recognition and timely intervention with resuscitative treatments are key to improving outcomes. 

This educational session will provide a review of sepsis and sepsis management.  It will improve knowledge, communication, and collaboration amongst the interprofessional healthcare team to improve care delivery.
