Learning Objectives

Educate the audience in advancements in early detection of skin cancer including new approaches and technology that can decrease unnecessary biopsies and potential overtreatment of benign lesions.
Discuss skin cancer information and concerns specific to female patients and female providers.
Review transgender female skin concerns.
Enhance knowledge of cosmeceuticals.
Differentiate between key cosmeceutical ingredients (ie: antioxidants, peptides, growth factors) and their evidence-based benefits for improving skin texture, tone and signs of aging Develop understanding of non-invasive cosmetic skincare
Review topical regimen and skincare strategies to complement aesthetic procedures such as peels, laser treatments and injectables.
Review the most common procedures performed in cosmetic dermatology practice
Define the main differences between lasers, peels and injectables and why/when one might choose one over the other.
