SNPhA Regions 1 & 2 Conference: outside speaker: Updates in the Management of Sickle Cell Disease
Due to the nature of sickle cell disease (SCD) and the limited patient population it affects, there is a limited number of literature available for use by professionals. Clinical experience remains a moderately strong source of evidence for management of SCD. Therefore, this CPE activity with education provided by a professional who manages SCD patients daily will reduce the gap present for professionals seeking information about treating the disease.
