Trauma Series Session 2 - Trauma 102: Basic Skills of Trauma Informed Care
Building on information in Trauma 101, professionals expand their understanding of trauma and are provided specific skills that enhance abilities to interact in emotionally and relationally healthy ways with people impacted by trauma. As professionals become trauma-aware, they have a responsibility to prevent, avoid and respond to trauma. In this hands-on, interactive workshop professionals are provided opportunities to implement and practice the skills presented.

- Examine individual ability to interact in emotionally and relationally healthy ways with members impacted by trauma while following established regulations

CCM CE will be provided: 2 CE - CCM COA will be sent via email from UPMC Health Plan nurse planner approximately 6-8 weeks following the live date of the course.
Other health care professionals will receive a certificate of attendance confirming the number of contact hours commensurate with the extent of participation in this activity.
