Learning Objectives
Educate participants on the latest evidence-based practices and methodologies in quality improvement to bridge the existing knowledge gaps among advanced practice providers.
Equip attendees with the necessary skills for effective project management, data analysis, and team leadership to drive successful quality improvement initiatives within their clinical settings.
Foster improved collaboration and communication among interprofessional healthcare teams, including PAs and nurses, to ensure cohesive and coordinated efforts in implementing quality improvement projects.
Provide practical strategies and tools to help participants effectively translate theoretical knowledge into actionable improvements in patient care and clinical processes, leading to enhanced performance and better patient outcomes.
In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Physician Assistant (AAPA)
The University of Pittsburgh has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 2.75 AAPA Category 1 CME credit. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
Nursing (CNE)
