The POSITIVE Program stands for Prolonged length Of Stay In paTIents with IV antimicrobials or Extenuating infectious circumstances. It is an innovative program designed to enhance care for patients experiencing extended hospital stays due to complex infections or need for prolonged IV antimicrobial therapy. The system based infectious diseases pharmacists will discuss the program and how it can help with discharge planning.
