UPMC St. Margaret Pharmacy Education Lunch and Learn Series 1 hr (SMH LNL 1) - August 16, 2019

Staff pharmacists can be stuck in the “silo” of the hosp. pharmacy and miss interesting patient discussions/literature updates. Pharmacists can now be more involved in presentations at the hospital and are more up to date on current medications and patient care.

Target Audience

Pharmacists from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and/or employed by UPMC and deployed throughout the hospital campus in unit based roles and centrally in the department of pharmacy's main pharmacy.

Describe patient cases and guideline-based care

Discuss primary literature in relation to patient-centered care
