What's New: Disease Management 2020 - Scientific Day
The Washington Health System is pleased to offer its 41st Annual Scientific Day. This interactive conference is designed to address new practice changes for disease management in 2020.
“What’s New: Disease Management in 2020” will feature a host of clinical experts aimed at improving and advancing your knowledge of new and evolving treatment options and modalities. You will learn about approaches to address atrial fibrillation and valvular disease, management of endometriosis, hypertension, mood disorders in pregnancy, vaping related illnesses, and cancer immunotherapy. Our panel of experienced speakers and clinicians will provide an overview and highlight advances relevant to all physicians and healthcare professionals.
Target Audience
Primary Care and Specialist Physicians, Podiatrists, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Learning Objectives
•Identify and discuss hypertension guidelines and nephrology pearls.
•Review top nephrology advances relevant to physicians.
•Discuss current Cancer Immunotherapy and future advancements in 2020.
•Describe medical management of endometriosis.
•Discuss the treatment of mood disorders in pregnancy.
•Review and discuss advances in structural heart disease management including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and nonpharmacological stroke prevention in Atrial Fibrillation.
•Develop an understanding of vaping related illness through case reports.
