Magee’s Quality/Patient Safety Symposium is one of the regions focused seminars for advancing patient safety.  Our speakers are recognized both regionally and nationally for driving high reliability, teamwork, and collaborative care where team members work  together and include the patients and their families into the care activities.

Target Audience

Staff, Nurses, Physicians, Administrators, Pharmacists, Ancillary Staff.

Learning Objectives

¨ The attendees will learn to assess and establish trust rapidly with health care team members and patients/families.

¨ The attendees will become familiar with providing trauma informed care that enhances patients’ ability to trust the heal care team.

¨ The attendees will be able to describe key behaviors that minimize liability risk by enhancing patient and team member trust.
