Learning Objectives
Learners will demonstrate understanding of: how to correctly set-up TPN and lipid administration sets, use of smartphrase for education documentation in cardiac surgical patient, how to manage patient with PA catheter, activating and managing a stroke alert, indications and use of lumbar drain in vascular surgical patient, appropriate steps for central line and sheath removal
Learners will demonstrate correct troubleshooting and management of: deteriorating post-op cardiac surgical patient, post-op cardiac surgical patient in cardiac arrest, alarms for IABP, change helium tank of IABP, change cassette of Impella, perform NIHSS
Learners will implement into practice: appropriate documentation of titratable medications, performing and documenting temporary pacer threshold assessments, documenting SAT
